Loksabha Elections 2009 :(

Namaskar,

I am back! But with a heavy heart :(

Reading this post, please make one thing clear, I am speaking more pragmatic today!
I am trying to see the things with a clear pair of glasses :) and by that, I mean to say that all this secularism and etc. is just and just B.S. We have to realize, sooner or later what the bottom line of Indian politics is, and it is undoubtedly 'Religion', to summarize in one word. At least that is how political parties view it, be it BJP or INC. Let it be harsh, but it is ultimate truth. While fielding the candidates only thing taken into consideration is your caste, creed or religion or the 'to be' candidates Economic stability or at most clout he/she holds in her constituency, be it for the wrong reasons.

Election results were out yesterday :( and they did made me uncomfortable surely.
I certainly derive my ideology from extreme right wing conservatives and so what ever happened certainly pained, but life goes on and I have quickly recognized that I must reconcile with the facts :(.

Only good outcome of the elections was the wiping out of leftist (read Chinese) ideology. That bunch of people would surely make India a mere puppet of China. It really pains to have people in India who pledge their loyalty to China.

Now, I shall try to delve into what exactly happened. This time, according to me, the country had to make a choice between a brown skin and the white, and people, clearly preferred the white. It is said history repeats itself, and this is what exactly happened. This was the very same reason that Britishers ( relatively very small in count!) could hold India for ransom for almost a century.

Why was it that my ideology was forced onto back foot? I even today don't realize it. My subconscious mind says it was a conspiracy that paid off well for INC.
INC left no stone unturned in wooing the minorities this time. They even had Sacchar commission installed, which ensured that a particular community was wooed!

Every time, it is in India only that sentiments of Hindus are hurt. Last one to sing the same ugly tune was none other then Prime Minister himself. It really pains when some one, holding the highest position of Executive says that "Muslims must have first claim of resources." Why? Is there anything wrong to have an equal claim on resources being a Hindu? That too in India? Swami Vivekanand rightly said that Hindu is the identity of India. Where shall we claim our first right if not in India? in Saudi Arabia? Or probably in Vatican city. This questions always go unanswered, when ever I try to 'move ahead' with life or 'reconcile' with the bitter facts.

I clearly believe that UPA ,in past years has done seldom good. People might count on nuclear deal as a big accomplishment, but I say, Indians will pay a dear price for it. UPA is indeed devils advocate. Waht good did it do by waving off the loans of farmers. All it did was forcing the banks of commit suicide. I don't say that farmers are not in need of much needed assistance, but what way is this! This means that, if you are honest enough to pay back the debt, then, no relief for you and at the same time if you happen not pay your debt back then government comes to your rescue! Wow! Such a farce! Certainly not the best of the ways to disburse the relief.
These are few to count, I can go on and on.I believe that country has again gone into hands of terrible terrible administrators, who will, one day sell away our pride for the sake of remaining into power.

Counting on the technical reasons of the defeat,I would point out a few.
Anti incumbency in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab etc., return of Muslims to congress (Yeah, 12 crore people out of 100 crore hold key!), Regional parties who ate away steadily into BJP votes, Over confidence, lack of charm in the prime ministerial candidate, and biggest of all being the ideological dilemma. BJP has been facing that for a long time now. When you don't know what you are trying to stand for, results can be but devastating and that is what exactly happened.
Ram Mandir, and for that sake Mathura and Kashi Vishwanath are at the heart of our ideology. We stand for it loud and clear. But, BJP, in order to capture the power, parted its ways from such points, and result was, it was able to come to power in 1999, with the Kargil sympathy, but failed to do so in 2004 and 2009. And, now I believe, it is too late to come back to such burning issues. :(

This very much sums up the outcomes of my analysis. I can say one thing at the end, not standing for something you believe in can have a very bad effect on your health and I shall always stand for what I believe in. :(
Alright,
signing off,

Summer! Here it is !

Hi friends,
After one grueling month, I have got the reward I deserve! A break!
As my previous post summarizes my experiences of Professor Molisch, it was highly likely that he was not going to allow us to go easily! He did made sure, he broke out butts off! But, I much say, it was good experience! I probably learned more in that one particular class compared to collective learning of communication courses I took at USC! Indeed a good experience! It all went okay and now, while I am writing this post, I am hopeful of getting a 'RESPECTABLE' grade for sure, which a month back looked like a distant dream. Anyways, with this semester getting over, technically, I am a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering! Yay!! It took 1.5 painful years and hell lot of work to accomplish what I call a 'FEAT"!

Yesterday was the commencement ceremony at USC and Dr. Arnold Schwarzenegger was the speaker for the ceremony! What a celebration of student achievements it was! Simply astonishing to see that people respect ones achievements at USC a lot! It made me proud of being a member of Trojan academic community!

Now, here is summer time, and after a period of 1.5 years, I intend to do nothing but relax and work. I don't want to take any sort of academic burden anymore! I have one course left over for fall and I will take any easy course to fulfill my student status in USA.

That's all I had to say in this post!
I am out!

Mobile Comm.-->Prof. Molisch strikes! And I am almost out of the game it seems!

Hi friends,
I come here, again!
I have not posted an article for a time now! I was occupied with lots of work which had piled up owing to my India trip! And, it did take time to clear all the load!

Last month or so has been but an eventful for me!
I had two midterms to write in 4 hours and believe me, it was horror!
And more of it was to follow once the results came out!
Error correcting codes was like OK but Prof. Andreas Molisch, instructor for Mobile communications did screwed me (and for that sake, he screwed whole class, and me is not an exception! A rarity!)
I scored 25 point out of 80 possible points and to pacify me, the news that class average was not more than 25 was but enough! Still, I felt it was the time to introspect! What went wrong so terribly? Was it the anxiety of 2 midterms in four hours or was it just the reflection of amount of efforts I put in?
This question did bug me a lot and I am not able to answer it yet. I felt (Before midterms) that I was learning a lot in the subject but seeing the paper, and more, getting the result as such, I was like, didn't I study anything for this exam?
I don't know what the end result is going to be, but I feel strongly that I might end up dropping the class!

This pretty much wraps up my yelling! I had a lot to say about my India trip, but in few hours, horror of 570-Analysis of algorithms is to strike and this time, I gotta be prepared to face it, and possibly, not allow it to take over!
So meet you guys later on!
Take care,
Jai Gujarat!
Vandemataram!

Change we need!!

Namaste All,

Jai Somnath!
Yeah, Jay Somnath! This temple, in its full glory is indeed the sign of courage our Nation and Hindus as such possess! Everytime this temple of Bhagwan Shiv was brought down, it came up with more majesty, the current one being the best one according to me!! (Alright, I didn't see rest of them and also I am in love with this temple, I might go on to say that it ain't Taj Mahal but Somanth MAdir that should be given a place in 9 wonders of the world as well :))
This thoughts of Somnath mandir came to my mind while I was watching the ghastly acts going on in Amchi Mumbai! Our Mumbai! Mumbai that belongs to Indians and not that of Raj Thackerays!! I wonder where he was and what he was doing while city was held hostage by a couple of Bastards from across the border! :O

Enough of Digression, I know you guys want me to come to main point!
I was glued to my Laptop for 2 days seeing the prooceedings that were taking place at Taj hotel and other prime buildings of Mumbai! It pained, created agony, hatred and almost everything that can be associated with Tamas! :( I had been to the same place on 13th DEC, 07, last time I had been to Mumbai in order to get my visa :( ( I now wish I hadn't got that.) This place, although British in architecture, gave a sense of pride to me, seeing it, I felt proud of bharat, of Mumbai! But went away the majesty with what happened! Although I am sure, Taj will be build up with even more grandeur! ( You guys see, little bit of digression is but necessary.).

We see a lot, hear a lot and analyse a lot but when come the application we hide our backs like an Ostrich :O. This is what I anticipate, will happen in the aftermath of this terrifying acts.
We see a hell lot of people saying we need a change! All discussions I heard ( I confess, I killed a lot of time listening to them!) were useless, aimed to prove only and only one thing- Only people who are responsible for what happened are 'POLITICIANS'. A preferred way by all of us to hide our own short comings. For anything and everything bad, point out the finger at people that occupy the Delhi! If you dont earn, you are hungry, you are uneducated, point finger at Delhi and its policies!
Even I think we need a change, but this change is within us, the way we think, the way we act. We are occupied with the West for wrong things,be it night clubs or live in-s. This is not we need, we need some better things to learn from West, these things inlcude, Planning, Integrity, proper law enforcement, better hygiene etc. etc., list goes on and on, in many ways if we bring this change, I am pretty sure, such acts and hence, the history will not repeat. This is the change I was talking about! :)
see you later on,
Jai shri Ram.

Halat Bigdi!!!!!

Hello friends!
This time here to share the experiences of being at USC!
It is high time for me to study but still just to relax a bit, I thought of posting a new blog.
As the heading says, to describe USC in few words, I prefer to say, "SWEET ASYLUM".
It has been a terrifying experience!
Too much of the hard work and nothing fun!
I never anticipated that it would turn out to be so wierd.
It has been a truely hilarious experience, not in the sense that I hate hard work, but more due to the fact that even after workin hard, I some times ended up doing something that was totally confusing, and that confusion arised from the fact that I was not knowing what I was trying to do!! I think that sums up USC.
It asks you to do the things of which you are totally unaware of! i.e, a total confusion!
I am so terrfied with todays experience that I am not able to write any thing good about USC for today atleast!
So for that, wait for the next post!
See you all later on,
Good Bye,
Vandemataram,
Konark Vyas!

Here I am ! This time from the land of Uncle Sam!

Hello friends!
Again I come . Finally fulfilled the dream of being to US of A with purpose of pursuing Master's in Communication Engineering! As I disembarked Singapore on my way, I was estonished to see such a beautiful place! A fabulous airport I ever visited
(Based on comparision of :
Chatrapati Shivaji international airport,Mumbai, Bharat
Sardar Patel international airport,Karnavati,Bharat
Moscow international airport,Moscow,Russia
Istanbul international airport,Istanbul,Turkey,
Los Angeles international airport,Los Angeles,USA)
All beautiful things too see(although all artificial!)
Its simple beauty at its best. Engineering at its pinnacle! I had a feeling that things don't became more good! Visited all of places that I could but without paying a $$$$$$!
And after a pleasent and memorable stay of almost a day, I headed to the destination! A country where every Gujarati wants to be!A country where references count officially!
I landed at LAX aka Los Angeles on the last day of 2007! The city of Hollywood! The city of stars! The city that houses the Wallstreet of west! The city that is home to Trojans & hence a home to me!

Finally I had the chance to visit the place where I will spend next two years being a student at University of Southern California! "Magnificent architecture and excellent infrasturucture" is what best defines USC! But its same words that define all universities of America!
I first time saw a blend of European and Jeffersonian architecture! It was all beautiful and I must say, affluence shows in everything at this place! Its just awesome!

More of it in next part!
Good bye!
Vandemataram.

HYPOCRISY AGAIIN!!!! GUJARAT GOES FOR ELECTIONS

Hello friends,
Seeing you all after a very long time!
Well Gujarat heads for polls again and whole country has its eyes localized at single point. No doubt this elections might well decide the loksabha-2009's fate!

MR. CM is flying high and it seems he has forgotten the ground reality. The experimental school of hindutva no more surrenders to such emotions anymore & although the developments are apparent, large amount of dissent among the party people might well prove fatal for the BJP.

Again, the Sadhvi seems to be going on the track which might lead to the division of hindu votes and in all, the congress may well have an upper hand as minority will always render its support to it.
I reckom that it will be nail biting fray and lots of muscle and money power will go in and it may well readicate the fact that MR. CM is against CORRUPTION!

may god save my motherland!
