Loksabha Elections 2009 :(

Namaskar,

I am back! But with a heavy heart :(

Reading this post, please make one thing clear, I am speaking more pragmatic today!
I am trying to see the things with a clear pair of glasses :) and by that, I mean to say that all this secularism and etc. is just and just B.S. We have to realize, sooner or later what the bottom line of Indian politics is, and it is undoubtedly 'Religion', to summarize in one word. At least that is how political parties view it, be it BJP or INC. Let it be harsh, but it is ultimate truth. While fielding the candidates only thing taken into consideration is your caste, creed or religion or the 'to be' candidates Economic stability or at most clout he/she holds in her constituency, be it for the wrong reasons.

Election results were out yesterday :( and they did made me uncomfortable surely.
I certainly derive my ideology from extreme right wing conservatives and so what ever happened certainly pained, but life goes on and I have quickly recognized that I must reconcile with the facts :(.

Only good outcome of the elections was the wiping out of leftist (read Chinese) ideology. That bunch of people would surely make India a mere puppet of China. It really pains to have people in India who pledge their loyalty to China.

Now, I shall try to delve into what exactly happened. This time, according to me, the country had to make a choice between a brown skin and the white, and people, clearly preferred the white. It is said history repeats itself, and this is what exactly happened. This was the very same reason that Britishers ( relatively very small in count!) could hold India for ransom for almost a century.

Why was it that my ideology was forced onto back foot? I even today don't realize it. My subconscious mind says it was a conspiracy that paid off well for INC.
INC left no stone unturned in wooing the minorities this time. They even had Sacchar commission installed, which ensured that a particular community was wooed!

Every time, it is in India only that sentiments of Hindus are hurt. Last one to sing the same ugly tune was none other then Prime Minister himself. It really pains when some one, holding the highest position of Executive says that "Muslims must have first claim of resources." Why? Is there anything wrong to have an equal claim on resources being a Hindu? That too in India? Swami Vivekanand rightly said that Hindu is the identity of India. Where shall we claim our first right if not in India? in Saudi Arabia? Or probably in Vatican city. This questions always go unanswered, when ever I try to 'move ahead' with life or 'reconcile' with the bitter facts.

I clearly believe that UPA ,in past years has done seldom good. People might count on nuclear deal as a big accomplishment, but I say, Indians will pay a dear price for it. UPA is indeed devils advocate. Waht good did it do by waving off the loans of farmers. All it did was forcing the banks of commit suicide. I don't say that farmers are not in need of much needed assistance, but what way is this! This means that, if you are honest enough to pay back the debt, then, no relief for you and at the same time if you happen not pay your debt back then government comes to your rescue! Wow! Such a farce! Certainly not the best of the ways to disburse the relief.
These are few to count, I can go on and on.I believe that country has again gone into hands of terrible terrible administrators, who will, one day sell away our pride for the sake of remaining into power.

Counting on the technical reasons of the defeat,I would point out a few.
Anti incumbency in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab etc., return of Muslims to congress (Yeah, 12 crore people out of 100 crore hold key!), Regional parties who ate away steadily into BJP votes, Over confidence, lack of charm in the prime ministerial candidate, and biggest of all being the ideological dilemma. BJP has been facing that for a long time now. When you don't know what you are trying to stand for, results can be but devastating and that is what exactly happened.
Ram Mandir, and for that sake Mathura and Kashi Vishwanath are at the heart of our ideology. We stand for it loud and clear. But, BJP, in order to capture the power, parted its ways from such points, and result was, it was able to come to power in 1999, with the Kargil sympathy, but failed to do so in 2004 and 2009. And, now I believe, it is too late to come back to such burning issues. :(

This very much sums up the outcomes of my analysis. I can say one thing at the end, not standing for something you believe in can have a very bad effect on your health and I shall always stand for what I believe in. :(
Alright,
signing off,

Summer! Here it is !

Hi friends,
After one grueling month, I have got the reward I deserve! A break!
As my previous post summarizes my experiences of Professor Molisch, it was highly likely that he was not going to allow us to go easily! He did made sure, he broke out butts off! But, I much say, it was good experience! I probably learned more in that one particular class compared to collective learning of communication courses I took at USC! Indeed a good experience! It all went okay and now, while I am writing this post, I am hopeful of getting a 'RESPECTABLE' grade for sure, which a month back looked like a distant dream. Anyways, with this semester getting over, technically, I am a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering! Yay!! It took 1.5 painful years and hell lot of work to accomplish what I call a 'FEAT"!

Yesterday was the commencement ceremony at USC and Dr. Arnold Schwarzenegger was the speaker for the ceremony! What a celebration of student achievements it was! Simply astonishing to see that people respect ones achievements at USC a lot! It made me proud of being a member of Trojan academic community!

Now, here is summer time, and after a period of 1.5 years, I intend to do nothing but relax and work. I don't want to take any sort of academic burden anymore! I have one course left over for fall and I will take any easy course to fulfill my student status in USA.

That's all I had to say in this post!
I am out!
